What is Knee Bursitis?
Knee bursitis is inflammation of one of the bursae fluid-filled sacs that cushion the knee joint. It often results from prolonged kneeling, overuse, trauma, or infection. Symptoms include localised pain, swelling, and warmth over the affected area. Treatment involves rest, ice, anti-inflammatory medications, aspiration, or antibiotics if infection is present.
