Shoulder Instability - Orthopaedic Care - Griffith, NSW
What is Shoulder Instability?
Shoulder instability occurs when the shoulder joint becomes loose and prone to slipping out of place, often due to repetitive overhead activity, trauma, or ligament laxity. It may result in pain, a sensation of the shoulder 'giving way,' and recurrent dislocations. Treatment depends on severity and includes physiotherapy to strengthen stabilising muscles or surgical stabilisation in recurrent cases.
